Operates a 10-bed short term emergency shelter for women who are victims of abuse, and their children

• Provides a 24-hour support line
• Provides emergency transportation to women living outside the community who need to come to the shelter
• Provides accompaniment to appointments
• Provides access and referral to available community resources
• Supports women in obtaining clothing, furniture and household items when in need
• Provides an emergency food cupboard for women accessing shelter services
• Offers women's support groups
• Offers a resource library
• Provides public education and presentations on abuse

Operates an emergency shelter for abused women and their children in a crisis situation

• Offers overnight shelter and the basic essentials required to be safe during a crisis time
• Provides a 24-hour crisis line

• Operates a 24-bed emergency shelter for women who have been victims of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, and their children
• Operates a 24-hour crisis support phone line and walk-in crisis service
• Offers long-term and crisis counselling for women who have been victims of sexual assault or abuse both current and historic
• Offers educational groups on topics such as self-esteem, self worth, exploring the cycle of violence, healthy relationships, safety planning, housing, and advocacy
• Offers client referrals for counselling and to government services
• Provides community education and awareness on the issues of abuse
• Provides on site child care for women who are residents of the shelter for court dates, doctors appointments, group sessions
• Offers on site child care for non-resident women during group sessions, Call for information on programs offering this service
• Offers parenting support and counselling sessions
• Offers a Family Court Support Worker Program

Note: A woman does not have to be a resident of the centre to access these services

Operates a 24-bed emergency shelter for women and children who have been affected by abuse and violence

Offers the following services:

• Advocacy
• Assistance in finding housing
• In-House Child Care
• Parenting Skills
• Short and Long-Term Counselling

• Operates a homeless shelter for youth (males 16-17 years of age, females 16-21 years of age)
• Provides 12 emergency beds for youth, seven emergency beds for women, and two emergency units for families, regardless of gender identity and/or sexual orientation, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless
• Provides emergency, short term housing

Additional services:

• Provides referrals and assistance to other community agencies
• Offers training in basic living skills (cooking, cleaning)
• Mediates a safe return to the care of family where possible
• Provides assistance towards independent living and youth returning to school

Operates a short-term emergency shelter for abused women and their children

• Provides a 24-hour crisis line
• Accommodates a maximum of 10 individuals

Coordinates the following support services for residents:

• Helps women understand options to assist in making life choices
• Offers assistance in accessing housing, legal and other community services
• Offers individual counselling

Operates a short term emergency shelter for women who have been victims of physical, emotional, sexual or financial abuse, and their children

• Provides public education workshops and seminars to raise awareness about the issues and impacts of violence against women and children
• Gratefully accepts donations of money, furniture, lightly used clothing or any household items or appliances

Transitional Support Services

Provides assistance in safety planning for women and their children through the following services:

• Counselling
• Educational upgrading
• Health and wellness services
• Housing
• Income support
• Job training
• Legal assistance/legal aid
• Parental support

• Provides emergency shelter for women and children who require safe accommodations and are seeking refuge from abuse
• Allows women and children to stay up to 6 weeks

Offers the following services to residents of the shelter:

• Crisis and supportive counselling
• Safety planning

• Operates a 24/7 emergency shelter for abused women and their children
• Coordinates support services for residents
• Provides a 24-hour crisis line
• Accepts donations of clothing and household items
• Provides guidance and assistance in accessing geared-to-income housing in community
• Offers a Family Court Support Worker Program

Second Stage Housing

Offers a secure ten unit apartment building that provides safe, affordable housing for women and their children

• Operates a women's shelter
• Provides 24 hour crisis intervention services
• Provdes transportation to the shelter

Women are provided with:

• advocacy
• confidential counselling and referrals
• completion of risk assessments
• food and emergency clothing while in residence
• assistance with developing a safety plan

Provides safety and shelter to Indigenous women and children experiencing abuse

Provides women and children with a variety of services, including:

• Assessment to determine needs
• Counselling
• Crisis support line
• Follow-up after leaving the shelter
• Referrals to other community programs
• Personal safety plan

• Offers emergency shelter for abused women and their children
• Provides emergency transportation to the shelter
• Offers a 24-hour crisis line
• Provides counselling to women and children
• Facilitates safety planning
• Provides crisis intervention
• Advocates and offers support to victims of sexual assault
• Provides information about legal and housing rights
• Offers community education and awareness

Also provides the following:

• Laundry facilities
• Prepared dinner meals
• Communal living environment where residents assist with chores
• Outside playground for children
