• Determines monthly rent amounts by calculating 30% of a household's gross monthly income

Non Profit Housing

• Housing that is owned and operated by a community based organization

Affordable Housing Program

• Housing that is owned by Algoma District Services Administration Board and offers affordable market rents

Rent Supplement

• Housing units that are owned and managed by private landlords

Provides a seniors residence in a personal, home-like setting with services to meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of residents
Offers a 22-bed residential retirement home providing various programs/services including the following:

• Assistance with daily living
• Assistance with feeding
• Daily/weekly housekeeping
• External health care coordination
• Foot care (external services that comes in)
• Laundry
• Meals and special diet accommodations
• Medication supervision
• Nightly security checks
• Oxygen (available through third party providers)
• Physician on-call
• Physiotherapy (available through third party providers)

Renovation ProgramOffers BFN members living on the Reserve a renovation loan up to $20,000 to renovate their homeRoyal Bank Mortgage Program

• Provides a letter of verification to BFN members for them to attend the Royal Bank to apply for a mortgage
• Enables the band member to build their own home with the Chief and Council as guarantors
