Functions as a gateway to multiple resources and services designed to help students succeed academically

• Offers academic advising
• Provides academic support services including the learning centre, special needs office and assistance with learning strategies
• Houses the career centre
• Administers the student health plan
• Implements the Walk Safe Program
• Develops student events and activities to promote personal and social involvement on campus

Assists Ontario Works participants by providing:

• Assistance in job searches and researching job ads
• Computer use and assistance to update resumés and write cover letters
• Employment counselling in various areas including preparing for interviews
• Employment Readiness Assessments that provide individuals with information regarding the employment skills they have acquired and those they need to improve to achieve a positive work-life balance
• Information about other programs

• Access to job websites
• Community Placement Program (for volunteer opportunities)
• Computer and Internet access
• Fax machine, phone and photocopier
• Information on the Enhanced Employment Placement Program (for paid employment and training)
