• Provides each apartment with an emergency response system that is monitored by on-site staff

Fort Frances: Lady Frances, 1300 Fifth St E

• Offers 1 barrier-free apartment and 8 units under renovation in a rent-geared-to-income building administered by Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board (RRDSSAB)
• Support services are available 8 hours a day, 7 days a week

Kenora Supportive Housing

Provides safe and affordable long-term housing and short-term respite housing to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness

• Manages a rental unit (rent geared to income) for short or long stays
• Offers case management services

Short Term Housing

• Provides short term housing on an as-needed basis
• Offers a respite time for the caregivers of individual with mental health issues

Long Term Housing

• Assists in securing and maintaining long term housing
• Provides a rental unit with 24 hour staff supervision
• Offers assistance with medication management, housework and small indoor maintenance tasks

Rent Supplement Programs

• Mental Health and Addictions Rent Supplements - available to individuals with mental illness and/or problematic substance abuse who are homeless or at risk of homelessness 
• Mental Health and Justice Rent Supplements - available to individuals with mental illness involved with the criminal justice system through mental health court diversion or on release from a provincial correctional facility

Safe Bed Program

• Provides persons 16 years of age and older who are in mental health and addiction crisis and in contact with law enforcement with a short stay of 30 days, and 24/7 community residential crisis support services

Provides supportive housing and personal support to enable individuals to live independently in their own apartment

• Promotes mental and physical health
• Provides activities and outings for program members

Offers assistance from an on-site support worker with maintaining and developing daily living skills including:

• Budgeting and personal money management
• Grocery shopping
• Health care coordination
• Healthy meal planning and preparation
• Housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Personal care
