• Coordinates movie nights, craft sessions and youth dinners
• Teaches classes for regalia making, traditional dance and explains the cultural meaning of both
• Provides presentations and workshops including but not limited to Bullying Awareness, Dangers of Smoking, Teenage Pregnancy and Safe Sex Education

Due to the pandemic, all in-person programming at The Door Youth Centre has been suspended until further notice. Online and virtual programs are available by checking the website.

Regular Service:
Youth centre provides drop-in services, structured activities, service programs at the centre and local schools, and fun activities and events for teenagers. Equipped with pool tables, ping pong, card tables, music, snack bar, fooseball and table hockey. Coffee house-style events with live music. Kidmax Summer Day Camp. Christmas stocking program for teens.

Youth Adult Centre "YAC":

• Program is open to youth 12-18 years
• Events include games, crafts, socializing and snacks

Provides youth a place to meet in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Variety of activities offered including robotics, video-editing sessions, cooking classes, jam sessions, No Judge Club meetings, film club and sports clubs.

Free mental health therapy sessions for all youth.

Offers technology course for career minded entrepreneurs. Uses a 3-D Laser Printer, Glow Forge, T-shirt Press and other tools for youth to develop a business plan, design and produce products as well as develop selling skills.

The Resource Centre offers information on local clubs and services geared to the youth of Orillia such as taking part in arts, music, cooking, getting help with homework, or just hanging out.
