- length of hold depends on utility company
- all decisions can be appealed
- Assistance through LEAP program can only normally be received once in a calendar year (12 months), but there are TEMPORARY PROGRAM CHANGES FOR 2022
- Gas customers can receive up to $1000.00 on past due balance
- Customers who heat with electricity can receive up to $1200.00 on past due balance
- Eligible customers can apply more than once for 2022 up to the maximum grant amounts
