- Provides crisis intervention for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis
- Offers services over the phone or in person during regular office hours
- After hours crisis services are provided 24/7 by local hospitals
- Suicidal thoughts and/or plans
- Risk of self-harm or harm to others
- Overwhelming anxiety or worry
- Intense feelings of not being able to cope with the current situation

- After hours crisis worker can only be accessed from the emergency department of a local hospital You are having a crisis if you have overwhelming anxiety or worry; thoughts of or a plan to commit suicide or homicide; feelings of such a severe nature that you feel unable to cope
