Description
  • Provides crisis intervention for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis
  • Offers services over the phone or in person during regular office hours
  • After hours crisis services are provided 24/7 by local hospitals
Crisis intervention provided for individuals experierencing:
  • Suicidal thoughts and/or plans
  • Risk of self-harm or harm to others
  • Overwhelming anxiety or worry
  • Intense feelings of not being able to cope with the current situation
Comments
After hours crisis worker can only be accessed from the emergency department of a local hospital You are having a crisis if you have overwhelming anxiety or worry; thoughts of or a plan to commit suicide or homicide; feelings of such a severe nature that you feel unable to cope

Individuals 16 years of age and older experiencing a mental health crisis
