Description
Specialized door-to-door transportation for individuals who are unable to use Bracebridge Transit due to mobility difficulties
  • Able to accommodate wheelchairs that are no larger than 42 inches

Does not operate on Statutory holidays.
Eligibility
  • Resident of Bracebridge
  • Residency Requirements: Bracebridge Transit service area
  • Individual with physical disabilities preventing them from using regular conventional transit and not able to walk a distance of 175 meters
  • Visitors to Bracebridge may register for a maximum of four months if they meet criteria

  • Complete an Application Form
  • If a support person is required to accompany an Individual on Bracebridge Transit, complete a Support Person Transit Card Application Form which allows free travel to assist with journey, or
  • In Person: Transit Branch of the Public Works Department - Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court, Bracebridge, ON, or

    Note: Application will be reviewed within 14 calendar days and notification of eligibility will be sent to you. Please note that an incomplete application cannot be processed and will result in delays.
    If an applicant is approved for service, a letter will be mailed to the address on file, which provides them their registration number, along with an information package providing details on Bracebridge Mobility.
    If an applicant is denied service, a letter detailing the reason for denial and the options for available to them to apply will be mailed to the address on file.
