Yes Youth Can Program
- Description
- Works with youth to help them achieve employment success
- Offers a 4-week pre-employment training program
- Coordinates a 12-week paid employment opportunity (Quality Work Experience QWE) with one of the Community Employer Partners following the training program
- Assists financially with work-related costs such as transportation, uniforms, safety gear etc
- Eligibility
- Individuals between 16-30 years of age who must:
- Be an independent youth who self-discloses a disability
- Is legally entitled to work in Ontario
- Is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person
- Has a Social Insurance Number (SIN) and a valid piece of identification
