Local Accessible Transit
Operates a door-to-door transit system for seniors, disabled and/or handicapped individuals
- Provides service for any trip purpose using a wheelchair accessible van
- Requires advance reservations and cancellations or additional fees may apply
- Transportation is offered within the local areas served
Out-of-Town Transportation
Provides transportation for medical appointments outside the Temiskaming Shores area (Timmins, Sudbury and North Bay)
- Available for people 60 yeas of age or older or who have a visual or hearing impairment
NOTE: Passengers requiring an assistant must provide their own, but escort/companion can ride free of charge
- Eligibility
- Adults 60 years and older who are mobile, and people who are visually or hearing impaired
- Application Process
- Applications are available through the Transportation Coordinator and can be picked up at office or mailed to client's home
- Requires advance reservations
- Last minute cancellations will be billed
- Fee for each ride which is billed monthly
