- Description
- Assists individuals with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence, self-reliance, and community participation
- Provides practical help, advocacy, and assistance from injury to rehabilitation into the community
- Offers service coordination to help navigate the system, advocate for change, adjust to life with a physical disability and achieve goals
Peer Support
- Matches individuals who are recently injured, and their family members, to individuals who have lived experience with a spinal cord injury
- Offers job coaching and a skills workshop to help overcome barriers to employment
Learning Platform- Provides a platform where individuals who are injured can access information on relevant topics
- Eligibility
- Individuals 16 years of age and older with a spinal cord injury or other physical disability
