COVID19 Organization has cancelled all social groups including; Diners Clubs, Social Recreation, Cancer Support, Grief Support, Coffee & Colouring, Adult Day Program, Nursing Foot Care, Balanced Fitness and Falls Prevention. * Services that continue to run are: GAIN, Paramedicine, Mental Health Services (limited in person visits), Meals on Wheels, Emergency Response Program, OT supports, Hospice, Palliative Care Community Team ( limited in person visits), medical Transportation, Enhanced Care Coordination, Supportive Housing & Assisted Living,*They are coordinating efforts to offer alternate services including but not limited to; phone friendly visiting, grocery shopping & deliveries, pharmacy pick ups & deliveries. * Researching possible online opportunities for learning, education, and group social engagement. * As the need continues to grow, of alternate supports, they will continue to look into ways they can mobilize further response efforts through the Community Support Services Response Team.Promotes wellness and provides access to essential health services including two hospitals (Minden and Haliburton) and two Long-Term Care Homes (Hyland Crest and Highland Wood) and a variety of community programs
