- Provides licensed child care services through private homes for infants, toddlers, preschool, or school-age children requiring care either day hours before school, after school, evening, weekend or overnight
- Private Home Child Care Worker makes visits to the providers' home to ensure that children in care are receiving proper stimulation and guidance compatible with good child development

- District Social Services Administration Board does not provide direct child care services
- Selection of providers is the responsibility of the Supervisor
- Eligibility
- Children aged 12 years of age and under; Infants must be a minimum of 6 weeks old to be accepted into a home based day care
