- Description
Nurse practitioners providing women in the community who do not have a primary care provider to receive basic healthcare services including:medical history questionnaire
- Well Woman exams, including Pap and breast examinations
- prescriptions for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and birth control options
- notification of any abnormal tests and appropriate referral if required
- initial prenatal assessments and referrals
- insertion of intrauterine devices such as Mirena and Kyleena
- insertion of Nexplanon implants
- ordering of mammograms or provision of number to register for the Ontario Breast Screening Program

- Women ages 14 and older who do not have a primary care provider Residency Requirements: Town of Petawawa * Townships of Laurentian Valley and Laurentian Hills
