COVID19 (October 2021): Remote services offered; when not possible one-on-one services may be provided with heightened precautions

Supporting women who have experienced abuse to transition to independent living:
  • Assists with acquring housing, social housing or other accommodations, educational, employment and financial supports
  • Assists women to plan and increase their safety and the safety of their children
  • Support women to identify the supports, make goals and transition plans
  • Service will respect a woman's right to make her own choices
A Bilingual Transitional Support Worker is available for clients requesting this service.
Eligibility
Women ages 16 and up who may be living separate from their abuser(s) and/or residing in an emergency shelter, social housing or other accommodations * Women ages 16 and up who may be living with their abuser(s) and would like assistance with increasing their safety and the safety of their children
