• Operates a 24-hour crisis hot line
• Provides immediate on site intervention or telephone assistance
• Contacts police when deemed necessary
• Ensures individuals receive support and assistance to secure their safety
• Provides advocacy on behalf of individuals and families dealing with various agencies
• Provides information and referrals to appropriate resources and services

Mobile Crisis Response

• Assists in person with a serious mental illness in acute distress or situational crisis
• Meets at an alternate safe location that best meets the individuals needs
• Arranges meeting family members at centre or agreed upon location to discuss possible crisis resolutions
