Description
  • Oversees Ontario's workplace safety education and training system
  • Administers the province's no-fault collective liability insurance and access to industry-specific health and safety information for employers
  • Provides loss of earnings benefits and health care coverage for workers
  • Monitors the quality of health care
  • Assists in early and safe return to work for workers who are injured on the job or contract an occupational disease

Application Process
  • Employer will submit Employers' Report of Injury/Disease, Form 7, within 3 calendar days of work-related injury or occupational disease which causes worker to seek medical attention or lose time
  • Worker will file a claim for benefits by signing the Employers Report of Injury/Disease, Form 6, within 6 months of the injury
