- Modified Walk-In Clinic - mandatory phone pre-screening
- If you feel you have a medical issue, a nurse is available to screen you by phone and advise you if you should come to walk-in clinic. Before coming to the clinic, please call 807-475-9595 to be screened.
- If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 - we ask that you stay home and do not come to walk-in clinic. Contact Thunder Bay District Health Unit for more info at www.tbdhu.ca.
Nurse Practitioner-led medical clinic- Nurse practitioners (NP) are registered nurses with advanced university education who provide personalized, quality health care to patients
- Works in partnership with Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers and collaboratively with Physicians
Offers a variety of health care services including:- counselling and education
- diagnosing and treating illness and/or injuries
- ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- performing physical check-ups
- referrals to family physicians, specialists and other health professionals
- supportive care through illness
- treatments and/or procedures
- writing prescriptions
