Child and Family Centre
Supervised Access Program

  • Operates under contract with the Ministry of the Attorney General
  • Offers separated families a way to deal with difficulties that may arise during the exchange of the child between the parents/guardians
  • Provides a setting where visits and exchanges can take place under the supervision of trained staff and volunteers
  • Coordinates and supervises court ordered supervised visits
  • Coordinates and supervises court ordered and voluntary exchanges where there is unresolved conflict between the separated parents

Separated parents with children in a shared custody arrangement

Application Process
  • Parents may be court ordered to use the program
  • Those who wish to access the services voluntarily must call the office to speak with the Program Coordinator
