Description
  • Functions as the MTCU-designated provincial e-Channel service support organization
  • Supports the Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) system through strategic technical and technological support of the web-based, distance learning option for Ministry-funded LBS programs
  • Provides technology and technical support to designated LBS service providers delivering e-Channel distance learning programs, including all specialized streams (English, Francophone, Indigenous, Deaf and Hard of Hearing)
Eligibility
  • Agencies with programs as outlined, including the following:
    • ACE Distance
    • Deaf Learn Now
    • Good Learning Anywhere
    • the LearningHUB
    • Le service de formation à distance (F@D)
  • Adults 19 years and older whose literacy and basic skills are assessed at intake as being less than the end of Level 3 of the International Adult Literacy and Skills Survey (IALSS) or the OALCF
