After Hours Emergency Line
  • For emergencies involving an injured animal, contained stray animal and/or aggressive animal, call After Hours line or Timmins Police (705-264-1201)
  • For animal emergencies involving cruelty or neglect, call the Northern Animal Welfare Unit (NAWU) at 1-833-9-ANIMAL (1-833-926-4625)

To claim a stray animal who is being housed at TDHS on a Saturday, call the After Hours Emergency Line between the hours of 11 am-12 noon ONLY (calls outside this time period will not be answered and individuals wil have to wait until the next work day to claim their pet)
