- Description
- Represents the community in all lands and resources initiatives
- Liaises with all companies undertaking resource development in traditional Migisi Sahgaigan territory including mining developments, forestry projects and hydro electric power projects
- Participates in negotiations and agreements with resource developers to ensure Eagle Lake First Nation traditional lands and burial sites are protected
- Works with outside parties to ensure the First Nation is fairly included in benefits
- Works with the Housing Department for allocation of land to community registered members who wish to build a home or cabin on territorial land
