Description
Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services

Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:
  • Maintenance and upkeep of Band property and equipment
  • Road and bridge maintenance
  • Landscaping and community beautification
  • Street lighting
  • Repairs and maintenance of public buildings
  • Snow removal
  • Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
  • Septic tank installation
  • Assistance with waste diversion and recycling program
Capital Planning
  • Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
  • Assists with subdivision development plan and residential lot development plans

  • Completely separate from the community of Wahnapitae which is located on Hwy 17E within the city of Greater Sudbury
  • First Nation name comes from "Wahnapitaeping" which means 'that place where the water is shaped like a molar tooth'
