Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:- Maintenance and upkeep of Band property and equipment
- Road and bridge maintenance
- Landscaping and community beautification
- Street lighting
- Repairs and maintenance of public buildings
- Snow removal
- Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
- Septic tank installation
- Assistance with waste diversion and recycling program
- Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
- Assists with subdivision development plan and residential lot development plans

- Consists of 1 main reserve with a land area of approx 10.36 sq km; may increase with the settlement of a pending land claim
- Reserve is known as Wahnapitae Indian Reserve No 11
- Completely separate from the community of Wahnapitae which is located on Hwy 17E within the city of Greater Sudbury
- First Nation name comes from "Wahnapitaeping" which means 'that place where the water is shaped like a molar tooth'
