- Provides health awareness, education and prevention workshops and seminars
- Coordinates clinics in the community offered by the Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre in areas that may include Diabetes, Immunization, Sexual Health and Foot Care
- Offers prenatal and postpartum health care
- Updates community members about health-related issues in monthly newsletter
- Provides a variety of health programs for children and youth including a Summer Day Camp, as well as programs for adults and families, and seniors
- Coordinates community sports and physical activities, and social gatherings with an overall focus on healthy development of children and families
