Description
Provides the following support services for community elders and families that have members with disabilities
  • Assistance in their residence with routine household activities such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and meal preparation
  • Personal care help with activities such as dressing and bathing
  • Basic foot care
  • Teaching the individual in need to care for themselves
  • Respite for family members and caregivers
  • Light home maintenance including snow removal and grass cutting

Eligibility
Members of Wahnapitae First Nation who require assistance in their home due to illness, disabiity or age (50 years and over)
