Description
Provides a senior's complex for community elders
  • Provides 24-hour support services that range in length based upon needs of individual
  • Coordinates social, physical, recreational, cultural and educational activities for residents

Provides the following services:
  • Basic and advanced practice foot care
  • Blood sugar monitoring
  • Checking of vital signs
  • Congregate dining (three meals per day and snacks)
  • Emergency transmitter system (panic buttons)
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Medication assistance
  • Nursing care five days per week
  • Personal care

Eligibility
  • Members of Serpent River First Nation are given first priority
  • Open to others if space available
  • Members of Serpent River First Nation who require home services due to age or disabilities but must be ambulatory
  • Eligibility consideration determined upon review by Housing Manager and Community Wellness Coordinator
