Description
Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities 

Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:
  • Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements provided by Anishnawbek Police Service (APS)-Sagamok Detachment
  • Child & Family Services provided by Nog-da-win-da-win Family & Community Services
  • Serviced by flights through the Espanola West airport, located 28 km W of Massey
  • Publishes the Sagamok Anishinabek News, a monthly newsletter
  • Offers a community building for summer youth programs, meetings and community activities known as Fort Lachloche
  • Provides the Elders Eagle Lodge, an elder's residence
  • Participates in ownership of the Manitoulin Island Hotel & Conference Centre with five other First Nations and the Great Spirit Circle Trail (GSCT), a Manitoulin-based business that offers experiential tourism packages to people who want to experience First Nations culture
  • Operates a community Food Bank
  • Provides a monthly Good Food Box Program 
  • Offers health care and health programs through the Community Wellness Deparmtent and Sagamok Naandwedjige-Gamik Health Centre
  • Administers education services and facilities through the Education Department including Biidaaban Kinoonagegamik School, the Enjikendaasang Learning Centre, Waawaasnoode Adult Learning Centre and a Wasseyaankaan Teg Language Program
  • Supports a long-term care facility known as Elders Eagle Lodge
  • Provides a community Fitness Centre and the Sagamok Public Library
