Description
- Oversees the planning, maintenance and construction of community infrastructure, fire and rescue, housing, roads, waste management and water plant
- Maintains a public works garage and equipment
- Road maintenance and new road construction
- Roadside brushing
- Landscaping and community beautification
- Maintenance and installation of community signage
- Street lighting
- Maintenance of equipment and operation of the 2 water treatment plants and sewage treatment plant
- Repairs and maintenance of community buildings and residential homes
- Snow removal
- Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
- Garbage collection and maintenance of landfill site
- Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
