Ontario Breast Screening Program

Search Agency Service

  • Provides breast screening for early detection of breast cancer
  • Provides mammography x-rays, a physical examination of the breasts and teaching instruction on self-examination
  • Refers women who may need further testing or treatment

Diagnostics Wed 8 am-1:30 pm
Office Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon, 12:30 pm-4 pm
  • Women 50-74 years of age who are at average risk for breast cancer with mammography every two years
  • Women between 30 to 69 years of age who are identified as being high risk for breast cancer with annual mammography and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) screening

Residency Requirements: From Reesor to the east, Jogues-Coppell to the south, Lac Ste Thérèse to the north and Pagwa River to the west
Application Process
  • Women between 50-74 years of age do not need a referral
  • Women 30-69 years of age can be referred by a family physician or a nurse practitioner
  • All appointments must be booked
