- Responsible for the long-range planning, design, construction supervision and records management for storm drainage systems; sanitary sewage collection and treatment; water supply, treatment and distribution; roads and bridges
- Tracks repairs made to the streets by outside agencies through the use of the Utility Location Permit application
- Administers driveway permit applications for residential and other uses
- Responsible for two City-owned local cemeteries, Mountain View Cemetery and St Patrick's Cemetery
