Description
Responsible for the delivery of the basic services of Waterworks, Sewage Collection and Treatment, Storm Sewer Drainage system and Solid Waste and Recycling



Responsible for:
  • Repair, testing and replacement of the City's 34,500 water meters
  • Sewer and Water Service connections
  • Construction of new water distribution and sewer systems
  • Water Pollution Control Plant - Sewage Treatment (Atlantic Ave)
  • Water Treatment Plant (Bare Point)
  • Technical services related to water quality and sewage treatment
  • All maintenance and repairs associated with storm sewer piping, service covers and catch basins
