Provides criminal records searches

Offers three levels of Police Records Checks:
  • Police Criminal Record Check (PCRC)
  • Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
  • Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)

Note: If the criminal record search is required for school or employment reasons, it is important to remember that the process can take 12 - 16 weeks to complete

Eligibility
Will not provide Police Record Checks to applicants under the age of 18 years, unless the applicant is applying for an employment or volunteer position with a government agency

Fees
Service ; All purpose: $60 plus HST ; Volunteers $30 plus HST * effective 03Sep2019
Documents Required
  • Applicants must provide a letter from the Agency or Organization requesting the Police Record Check identifying whether or not a Police Information Check or a Police Vulnerable Sector Check is needed
  • Must provide 2 pieces of identification: one government issued photo ID and one with name and date of birth
Note: Health cards and Social Insurance Number (SIN) cards are not accepted
