- Functions as an emergency text messaging service for members of the deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or speech impaired (DHHSI) community
- Allows individuals who are in an emergency situation to converse with a 9-1-1 operator using text messaging
- Eligibility
- Individuals who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or speech impaired
- Must have an active wireless subscription and a 3G, 4G, or GSM supported cell phone
