- Provides information on the family court process
- Assists in documenting the history of abuse and accessing Legal Aid for family court proceedings
- Offers referrals to specialized services and supports in the community
- Teaches safety planning and assists with the development of safety plans
- Accompanies victims to court proceedings when appropriate
