- Description
- Provides clinical support and treatment services for children's mental health issues and behavioral, emotional and social difficulties
Offers specialized programming in the following areas:- Bullying
- Child development
- Domestic violence intervention
- Personal safety
- Self-esteem
- Sexual abuse prevention
- Suicide prevention and intervention
- Behaviour management
- Counselling (individual and group)
- Grief recovery programs
- Play therapy
- Positive parenting
- Eligibility
- Must be a member of any of the 10 First Nations communities in the Rainy Lake Tribal Region either on/off-reserve
Psychological services can be accessed by:- Children 18 years of age and younger in care and their families
- Children and families receiving child welfare services
- Children and careworkers at Giizhikaandag Healing Centre
- Community Care teams
