Description
  • Manages the legal, personal, and financial affairs of individuals who are incapable of doing so on their own, and do not have anyone else to do so
  • Makes financial decisions and conducts transactions, such as receiving and depositing income, filing tax returns, and paying bills
  • Investigates allegations of abuse for both a financial or personal care nature, and may remove an individual from a situation of harm
  • Makes decisions when medical treatment is proposed or admission to a long-term care home is proposed
  • Arranges for legal representation in capacity proceedings
  • Provides Power of Attorney (POA) kits
