Provides employment and training services for job seekers and employers

Job seeker services include the following:
  • Individual or group employment counselling
  • Support, information and publications on career planning
  • Workshops and online information for writing resumés, cover letters and interview skills
  • Assistance with online job registration and posting documents for job advertisements
  • Job alert notifications sent to job seekers email address
  • Maintenance of updated list of employers and supplying individuals with all posting positions
Employer services include individualized employer support from job posting through to hiring of qualified employee(s) and consist of:
  • Employer Toolkit including history and culture of Treaty #3, benefits of hiring Aboriginal employees and a support committee to handle all human resource issues
  • Online job posting website
  • Assistance with registering vacant job positions
  • Cost efficient method of recruiting for job vacancies
  • Storage of data in electronic files
Eligibility
  • Must be a member of a Treaty #3 First Nation
  • Contact local or head office to determine financial assistance eligibility

NOTE: Can assist non Treaty #3 members to access funding from other First Nations or service providers

  • Open to referrals from any source
