Description
Strives to provide outreach services for youth in Thunder Bay who are not accessing traditional services

Meets with youth in the community and provides the following:
  • Individual counselling
  • Mediates between parents/guardians and teens
  • Accompanies youth to court
  • Teaches life skills
  • Connects with other community resources and educational system
  • Assists in locating suitable accommodations and housing
  • Assists with locating employment opportunities
  • Offers follow-up

Eligibility
  • Youth 12-24 years of age who have a lifestyle of survival (prostitution, shoplifting/theft, vandalism, substance abuse/use), and/or
  • Struggling to live independently and make positive choices, and/or
  • Are homelessness, and/or couch surfers, and/or
  • Pregnant teens, and/or
  • Experiencing problems in the family home
