Description
Operates an eight-bed open custody group home which offers the following services:

Case Management
  • Addresses areas of risk and the needs of the young person
  • Sets out a plan for programs and services to reduce the risk to re-offend
Treatment Services

Treatment services are integrated into the full range of rehabilitative programs and include:
  • Anger management
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
  • Education
  • Healthy living
  • Life skills
  • Recreation
  • Social skills
  • Spirituality
  • Substance abuse
  • Tele-psychiatry (with Toronto Sick Kids)
Also offers the following:
  • Provides and supports Cultural traditions, celebrations, and ceremonies including sweat lodges, medicine walks, seasonal feasts, Native crafts, and regalia making
  • Provides space for a classroom that is operated by the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board
