Description
  • Mandated to provide Young Offender Services under the Child and Family Services Act and the Youth Criminal Justice Act
  • Offers programs and services which are designed to address youth needs that are directly linked to continued criminal behaviour
  • Supports and challenges youth to assume responsibility for personal behaviour and to bring about change in thinking patterns that may lead to further criminal involvement
  • Administers several residential facilities/detention centres

For Indigenous youth: will bring in an Elder if necessary to interpret for Ojibway or Cree speaking clients
