Shelter House
Overnight Shelter

  • Provides food, clothing and shelter to those in need within the community
  • Refers individuals to appropriate community resources
Soup Kitchen
  • Offers daily meals to anyone who wants a hot nutritious meal
Overnight Shelter
  • Provides a dormitory style facility with 27 beds for male, 5 beds for female, 10 beds for youth (5 male, 5 female); overflow capacity for 20 additional beds
  • Each dorm has washroom, shower area, lockers
  • Laundry facilities available to residents
  • Provides breakfast and supper
Clothing Depot
  • Provides free clothing for individuals in need
  • Gratefully accepts donations, particulary of the following much needed items:
    • Personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, soap, shampoo, etc)
    • Feminine hygiene products
    • Towels and rags
    • Blankets
    • Socks and underwear
    • Hats and toques, mittens and gloves
  • Donations can be dropped off at the shelter before 1:30 pm or after 3:30 pm, 7 days a week
Parents with children requiring overnight accommodations should contact the Salvation Army Booth centre
No age restriction on meals
