Description
Open by appointment only with COVID-19 protocols in place. Call 807-345-5840 to make an appointment.

Assists Aboriginal peoples to prepare for, obtain, and keep jobs by offering a variety of employment services such as:
  • Employment counselling
  • Resume/cover letter assistance
  • Job search information
  • Training/Action Plans
  • Labour Market Information and Training Assistance
Provides financial assistance for the following:
  • Apprenticeship skills
  • Employment and training supports
  • On-the-job training
  • Pre-employment training
  • Self-employment training
  • Stay-in-school program
  • Training courses
  • Youth internship

Eligibility
  • Unemployed or under employed
  • Self-declared First Nations, Metis and Inuit persons who are unemployed or under employed and residing in an urban environment
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Must complete all documentation prior to service
