- Works with individuals to help them achieve employment success
Helps with the following:- Preparing resumes, cover letters, and interview skills
- Job search techniques and application assistance
- Securing funding for uniforms, work boots etc
- Securing funding for specialized training, such as First Aid/CPR or Smart Serve
- Eligibility
- Individuals aged 16 years and older and who must:
- Self disclose a disability (medical verification not required)
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a Social Insurance Number
- Not be eligible for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits
- Be unemployed or underemployed (working less than 20 hours per week)
- Have not participated in the program in the past
