Description
  • Provides programs and services for the youth members of the community
  • Supports and prepares youth for representation on other committees of Fort William First Nation
  • Maintains a Youth Centre which serves as a drop-in centre and allows for program activities
Activities, programs and workshops include:
  • Arts and crafts nights
  • Cooking classes and teaching about nutrition and healthy eating
  • Co-op and volunteer opportunities
  • Cultural activities and speakers
  • Diabetes prevention
  • Healing and Harm Reduction with Youth
  • Holiday theme events such as Halloween nights, Christmas parties and many others
  • Movie nights
  • Recreational activities
  • Sexual health, healthy relationships and self-care

Members of Fort William First Nation 13-18 years of age
