Description
??Effective March 18, 2020, all CMHA Thunder Bay service sites will be closed to the public. Altered services are available from each site, during our regular hours of operation from 8:30 am-4:30 pm --Please contact 807-345-5564 for further information about programs and services still available to you at this time -- All staff will be accessible to clients via phone or video conferencing
 
  • Offers a voluntary, pre trial procedure for individuals with mental health issues involved in the court system as a result of a mental health crisis
     
  • Provides consultation to the Crown
     
  • works directly with individuals and links them to mental health services in the community
     
  • Supports and encourages the client's growth through following a Diversion Plan
     
  • Diversion Plans normally last for six months
Eligibility
Individuals with a low to medium criminal offence whose mental health needs can be better met through services based in the community

Age Requirements: Ages: 12 year(s) and up;
