Crisis Support Residence

Effective March 18, 2020, all CMHA Thunder Bay service sites will be closed to the public. Altered services are available from each site, during our regular hours of operation from 8:30 am-4:30 pm --Please contact 807-345-5564 for further information about programs and services still available to you at this time -- All staff will be accessible to clients via phone or video conferencing

Operates a voluntary crisis support residence for individuals who would benefit from having a short stay
Individuals who:
  • Are in emotional distress
  • Are having thoughts of suicide or hopelessness
  • Need respite from their current situation to develop skills to prevent or manage a crisis in the future
  • Need support to adjust to changes in their medication
  • Are having difficulty at home, school, or work due to their mental health

Age Requirements: Ages: 16 year(s) and up;

  • Call for assistance
  • The crisis response team helps individuals access the service
