?Effective March 18, 2020, all CMHA Thunder Bay service sites will be closed to the public. Altered services are available from each site, during our regular hours of operation from 8:30 am-4:30 pm --Please contact 807-345-5564 for further information about programs and services still available to you at this time -- All staff will be accessible to clients via phone or video conferencing
  • Provides education and information on mental health, mental illness, and recovery
  • Assists community members in developing skills and techniques to enhance the mental health of others or themselves
  • Holds Mental Health Awareness Week and Mental Illness Awareness Week events
  • Holds various training sessions and workshops throughout the year including:

    • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
    • Introduction to the Recovery Approach to Mental Illness
  • Holds various education and support groups including:
    • Family Mental Health Education Series
    • Pathways to Resilience
