Cat Lake First Nation

  • Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation
  • Offers 1 main store (Northern), Cat Lake Lodge, Gray's Motel, a few small privately-run businesses and a local radio station

  • Cat Lake is a dry community and ALL arriving passengers at airport and via winter road undergo a luggage check for alcohol and/or illegal substances
  • Nearest urban centre is Pickle Lake, 115 km SE of Cat Lake; winter road runs N from Pickle Lake and takes approx 4-5 hours to drive to Cat Lake
