Description
Operates a public on-reserve school for elementary and junior high school students
  • Offers a full curriculum for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 8; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Teaches Native language as a subject course
  • Offers a school gymnasium, computer room and library, early childhood learning, a community hub, shared common space and a community kitchen
  • Provides a school breakfast program
  • Offers cultural and traditional outings such as ice fishing, dog sledding, snowshoeing
  • Provides bus transportation for all students attending the school
  • School enrollment is approximately 60 students; consists of 4 multi-grade classrooms
  • New school construction began in summer of 2020; grand opening in Sept 2021
